A17 Lincolnshire surface dressing night works (Lincolnshire CC/Kier)

Removal and installation of inset roadstuds
The main contractor’s objective was to complete over 104,000m² of surface dressing in 10 nights including removal and installation of roadstuds before and after surface treatment. Kemps once again rose to the challenge by removing 2124 Catseyes in just 3 nights before surface dressing took place and installing 2202 Armourstuds in 3 nights after the surface dressing and white lining had been completed. The entire programme was completed safely in 10 nights, Kemps being the first in and last out.
